The next CCC exam is the December 2026 quarterly cycle, and the exam begins on Saturday, 5 December 2026. The last date to submit the online exam form is 31 October 2026.
If you miss the 31 October form deadline, the next CCC exam after December is 6 March 2027 — a wait of more than four months. Since NIELIT moved these exams from monthly to quarterly in July 2026, there is no longer a "next month" option.

⚠️ One honest caveat. As of 20 September 2026, NIELIT has not yet put the December cycle notice on its portal. The 5 December exam date and the 31 October form deadline come from the quarterly calendar NIELIT announced for 2026. The September cycle ran exactly to that calendar. Always confirm on student.nielit.gov.in before you pay the fee — and treat any date you see on WhatsApp as unverified until it is on that portal.
Why There Is No October or November CCC Exam
This is the part that confuses most students right now, and it is the reason so many people are searching for the CCC exam date in the first place.
Until June 2026, NIELIT held Digital Literacy Course (DLC) exams every month. Miss one, appear the next month. Unhappy with your grade, reattempt in 30 days. In July 2026 NIELIT issued a public notice ending that system. DLC exams — CCC, CCC+, BCC, ECC and ACC — are now held four times a year.
The four fixed windows are March, June, September and December, and the exam starts on the first Saturday of that month.

So searches like "CCC exam date October 2026" or "CCC exam November 2026" have no answer — those months no longer have an exam. What you are looking for is the December cycle.

The exam does not finish in one day. NIELIT runs it in batches across several days from the start date, and your exact date, time slot and centre are printed on your admit card — not on the public notice. Two students from the same town regularly get different days.
What Actually Happened in the September 2026 Cycle
Worth reading, because it tells you how NIELIT behaves — and what to watch for in December.
Form deadline moved. The September cycle form was due 31 July 2026. NIELIT extended it to 5 August 2026. Extensions happen — but they are announced days late, so never plan around one.
Public notice came on 1 September, only four days before the exam.
Admit cards were released on 3 September 2026 — two days before the exam started. If you are used to a two-week gap, this is much tighter than it used to be.
Some exams were rescheduled mid-cycle. Exams scheduled for 11–13 September at the NDL centre were moved because of the BRICS India Summit 2026, and those candidates had to download a revised admit card.
Some candidates were cancelled for missing affidavits and incorrectly uploaded photographs — an avoidable loss of a full quarter.
The lesson for December: submit the form well before 31 October, upload the photograph exactly as specified, and check the portal again in the first week of December even if you have already downloaded your admit card.
Miss 31 October and You Lose Four Months
Under the old monthly system a missed form cost you 30 days. Under the quarterly system it costs you a season. Miss 31 October and your next exam is 6 March 2027.
That matters most in three situations:
You have a government job application coming up. HSSC, HPSC and most Haryana state notifications for Clerk, Patwari, Kanungo and Data Entry Operator posts require a CCC certificate by a fixed date. Work backwards from that date — a December exam means the certificate arrives in January, and a March exam means April.
You want to improve your grade. A reattempt is no longer a month away. Prepare to clear it properly the first time, at Grade B or above.
You are finishing another course. If your plan was CCC first, then O Level or a job, a missed cycle pushes the whole plan by a quarter.
If your certificate is needed before March 2027, the December cycle is not one of your options — it is your only one.

CCC Admit Card for the December Exam
The admit card is released only on the NIELIT student portal — student.nielit.gov.in — and only for candidates whose form and fee were accepted. There is no SMS, no email attachment and no third-party download link, whatever a forwarded message claims.
Going by the September cycle, expect it around 3 December 2026, roughly two days before the exam. The moment it is out, check your name spelling, date of birth, photograph, exam date, reporting time and centre address, and report any error to your centre the same day.

Does This Apply to O Level and A Level Too?
No. The quarterly change applies only to the Digital Literacy Courses — CCC, CCC+ (CCCP), BCC, ECC and ACC.
O Level, A Level, B Level and C Level run on their own January and July cycle and are not affected. If you are preparing for O Level, your dates are unchanged.
11 Weeks to 5 December — A Plan That Actually Fits
From today there are about 11 weeks to the exam. That is comfortable for CCC if you use it, and very tight if you start in the last fortnight. Here is how our own students are scheduled.

Two habits decide the grade more than anything else. Practise on an actual computer, not on your phone — CCC is a computer-based test and mouse-and-keyboard speed is half the battle. And do not skip the AI module; it is new in R5, most students leave it for the end, and questions from it do appear.
Why the Date Matters More Than the Certificate
CCC is a mandatory qualification for a long list of Haryana and central government posts, and recruitment notifications carry hard cut-off dates. This is the real cost of the quarterly system. It is not the three-month wait — it is that a single missed form date can push a job application into the next recruitment year.
