CCC Exam Date 2026 — December Exam on 5 December, Form Closed on 31 October

The next CCC exam is the December 2026 quarterly cycle, and the exam begins on Saturday, 5 December 2026. The form last date, 31 October 2026, has now passed, and NIELIT has published no extension as of 2 November.

If you did not submit the form in time, the next CCC exam after December is 6 March 2027 — a wait of more than four months. Since NIELIT moved these exams from monthly to quarterly in July 2026, there is no longer a "next month" option.

⚠️ Status on 2 November 2026 — the form deadline has passed. The 31 October last date from NIELIT's 2026 quarterly calendar is over, and its notice list shows no extension for the December cycle so far. The previous cycle's deadline was extended by five days, so if you missed it, check student.nielit.gov.in once, but do not count on it. NIELIT has not yet put a separate December cycle notice on its portal, and the September cycle is still finishing — the last admit cards, Part-8 and Part-9, came out on 19 October, the 22 October exams at the Jabalpur (JBL) centre were cancelled on 26 October, and some rescheduled batches at AYD1 and GND1 were moved again on 27 October. The 5 December exam date comes from the same quarterly calendar. With September running late, a small shift in the December dates is possible; we check the notice board every few days and will change this page the day anything moves. Always confirm on student.nielit.gov.in before you pay the fee — and treat any date you see on WhatsApp as unverified until it is on that portal.

CCC Form Last Date 2026 — Closed on 31 October: What to Do Now

The CCC form last date for the December 2026 exam was 31 October 2026. If your form went through, check that the payment shows as successful on the portal and wait for your admit card, expected around 3 December. If you missed it, your next exam is 6 March 2027. NIELIT has not announced that form's last date yet; the last two cycles closed about five weeks before the exam, which points to around 31 January 2027, but confirm it on the portal. The steps below are the same for every cycle.

1. Apply on the official portal only — student.nielit.gov.in. Login, registration and the exam form are explained step by step in our student.nielit.gov.in portal guide.

2. Or apply through a NIELIT-accredited study centre. The centre fills and checks the form for you, which avoids most rejections.

3. Upload the photograph and signature exactly as the portal specifies. In the September 2026 cycle this was the most common reason forms were sent back.

4. Pay the exam fee online and save the confirmation. A form is not complete until the payment shows as successful on the portal.

5. Do not wait for the last week. NIELIT extended the September cycle's deadline by five days at short notice, but that cannot be planned for. Every missed or rejected form now costs a full quarter.

Why There Is No October or November CCC Exam

This is the part that confuses most students right now, and it is the reason so many people are searching for the CCC exam date in the first place.

Until June 2026, NIELIT held Digital Literacy Course (DLC) exams every month. Miss one, appear the next month. Unhappy with your grade, reattempt in 30 days. In July 2026 NIELIT issued a public notice ending that system. DLC exams — CCC, CCC+, BCC, ECC and ACC — are now held four times a year.

The four fixed windows are March, June, September and December, and the exam starts on the first Saturday of that month.

So searches like "CCC exam date October 2026" or "CCC exam November 2026" have no answer — those months no longer have an exam. What you are looking for is the December cycle.

December 2026 Cycle — The Full Timeline

The exam does not finish in one day. NIELIT runs it in batches across several days from the start date, and your exact date, time slot and centre are printed on your admit card — not on the public notice. Two students from the same town regularly get different days.

What Actually Happened in the September 2026 Cycle

Worth reading, because it tells you how NIELIT behaves — and what to watch for in December.

• Form deadline moved. The September cycle form was due 31 July 2026. NIELIT extended it to 5 August 2026. Extensions happen — but they are announced days late, so never plan around one.

• Public notice came on 1 September, only four days before the exam.

• Admit cards were released on 3 September 2026 — two days before the exam started. If you are used to a two-week gap, this is much tighter than it used to be.

• Some exams were rescheduled mid-cycle. Exams scheduled for 11–13 September at the NDL centre were moved because of the BRICS India Summit 2026, and those candidates had to download a revised admit card.

• Some candidates were cancelled for missing affidavits and incorrectly uploaded photographs — an avoidable loss of a full quarter.

The lesson: check the portal again in the first week of December even if you have already downloaded your admit card. For the March 2027 form, submit early and upload the photograph exactly as specified.

Missed 31 October? You Lose Four Months

Under the old monthly system a missed form cost you 30 days. Under the quarterly system it costs you a season. If you missed 31 October, your next exam is 6 March 2027.

That matters most in three situations:

1. You have a government job application coming up. HSSC, HPSC and most Haryana state notifications for Clerk, Patwari, Kanungo and Data Entry Operator posts require a CCC certificate by a fixed date. Work backwards from that date — a December exam means the certificate arrives in January, and a March exam means April.

2. You want to improve your grade. A reattempt is no longer a month away. Prepare to clear it properly the first time, at Grade B or above.

3. You are finishing another course. If your plan was CCC first, then O Level or a job, a missed cycle pushes the whole plan by a quarter.

If you missed the form and need the certificate before April 2027, ask your centre now whether any extension has been announced. Otherwise, plan around the March 2027 exam.

CCC Admit Card for the December Exam

The admit card is released only on the NIELIT student portal — student.nielit.gov.in — and only for candidates whose form and fee were accepted. There is no SMS, no email attachment and no third-party download link, whatever a forwarded message claims.

Going by the September cycle, expect it around 3 December 2026, roughly two days before the exam. The moment it is out, check your name spelling, date of birth, photograph, exam date, reporting time and centre address, and report any error to your centre the same day.

CCC Exam Pattern — A 60-Second Refresher

Does This Apply to O Level and A Level Too?

No. The quarterly change applies only to the Digital Literacy Courses — CCC, CCC+ (CCCP), BCC, ECC and ACC.

O Level, A Level, B Level and C Level run on their own January and July cycle and are not affected. If you are preparing for O Level, your dates are unchanged.

A Four-Week Plan to 5 December (If Your Form Is In)

From 2 November there are 33 days — about four and a half weeks — to the exam. That is enough for CCC if you start this week.

Two habits decide the grade more than anything else. Practise on an actual computer, not on your phone — CCC is a computer-based test and mouse-and-keyboard speed is half the battle. Why the Date Matters More Than the Certificate

CCC is a mandatory qualification for a long list of Haryana and central government posts, and recruitment notifications carry hard cut-off dates. This is the real cost of the quarterly system. It is not the three-month wait — it is that a single missed form date can push a job application into the next recruitment year.
